in respect of admissions to the 2026/2027 school year
Admission Policy and Application Form
A copy of the school’s Admission Policy and the Application Form for Admission for the 2026/2027 is available as follows: –
· Complete the pre-enrolment request on the school website at www.kenaghns.com. An application form will then be posted to your address.
· Download and complete the application form from the school website at www.kenaghns.com.
· Email a request for an admissions form to [email protected].
· Arrange for collection of a form by a sibling of the applicant or by a nominated person.
· Telephone the school on (043) 3322456 to request that an admissions form be sent to your address.
· Call to the school in person to collect an application form.
Please note that requesting or obtaining an application form by any of the above methods does not, in itself, constitute an application.

Application and Decision Dates for admission to 2026/2027
The following are the dates applicable for admission to Junior Infants
The school will commence accepting applications for admission on
03 Feb 2026
The school shall cease accepting applications for admission on
27 Feb 2026
The date by which applicants will be notified of the decision on their application is
06 March 2026
The period within which applicants must confirm acceptance of an offer of admission is
27 March 2026
Note: the school will consider and issue decisions on late applications in accordance with the school’s admission policy.
Number of places being made available in 2026/2027
The number of places being made available in junior infants/first year) is 30
